About UsWhat does Kiwanis stand for and more specifically what does the Kiwanis Club of Aiken stand for? We, that is both Kiwanis International and the Kiwanis Club of Aiken, stand for changing the world one child and one community at a time.
Locally, Kiwanis is creating tomorrow’s leaders today. The true mission of Kiwanis is to empower communities to improve the world by making lasting differences in the lives of children. Kiwanis of Aiken members are involved in many activities that support our local youth and related charities that add up to thousands of service hours in our community. |
We sponsor several regular Kiwanis youth activities in the Aiken County Area including Terrific Kids programs, Builders Clubs and two Key Clubs at Silver Bluff High School and Aiken High School. We annually award scholarships to deserving seniors at all high school Key Clubs.
In addition to these sponsorships, we have annual events to sponsor the service projects we champion and the scholarships we award each year.
